Intersek 2017

Every year, students from SEK and IES schools join for a week of cultural or sports activities. The event takes place in one of the countries in Latin America where exists a SEK school. In 2017 a sporting week take place at SEK Guadalajara International School, Guadalajara, México.

SEK Ski Week

 “SEK Ski Week USA”, activity planned in the yearly program of Physical Education, gives the students the chance to practice a sport with great pedagogic features and share enjoyable moments of fellowship and collaboration in a different environment. Taking place in the USA, the students will get an insight of the culture and way of life of this country, testing at the same time their knowledge of the English language.

This program is developed in the Sierra ski center at Tahoe, California, and it is aimed to the students of SEK schools from the south hemisphere of the American continent. The activity takes place during the month of January, according the climatic conditions of that hemisphere.

Green Week

Green Week introduces young people aged 13 and above to a range of enviromental issues in the context of Costa Rica’s extraordinary natural resources. Students visit some of the most exciting wild areas of this amazing country Green Week is based at the SEK International Institution’s school and is supported by staff who are bilingual in English and Spanish

International English Program, Boca Prep International School

This program, which has been in operation over ten years, offers student from Institution SEK International, aged bewteern  thriteen and sixteen years the possibility of continiung their usual studies at that school through the medium of English. Boca Prep International School is a fully accredited US school. The program usually last for three months, but can be extended up to one year.

Residential Short Courses at St. Jhon's International School, England

Short courses are offered at St. John's School for boys and girls aged 9-16. Students stay at the school for a minimum of half a term and take part in all aspects of the school's academic and extracurriucular programmes. St. John's also offers a Summer Camp during a four week period in July and August.
